NICE BOUNCE today, now if it will hold and continue up or sideways tomorrow? You know what they say about a Bear Market, sell the Bounce / Buy the Low!!
Shall I jump to the Pad today and lock in this gain or let GREED keep me in hoping for more gains?:confused:View attachment 3734

I'm sure that if I sold and moved to G, market would fall like a led balloon, so I will stand pat in CSI for now --

I have moved twice -- one from stocks to G and one from G to stocks; figure I have one move back to G if needed, but would rather hold on and be in stocks at the beginning of the month, otherwise 2nd move would be to G and nowhere to go from there on your 3rd move. At least if I am underdstanding the new rules right.

If I moved to the "G" and the Market fell that would be exactly what I would want it to do.
If you are going to ride this horse one more day so will I. I think we will go sideways to slightly up tomorrow, I guess?

I wasn't real clear there -- meant that if I moved to G before noon, it would drop by COB today :) .. Yep hanging in at least one more day.

Yeah, I ment the Markets fall tomorrow, but I'm staying in 100% today. We'll see how it goes for tomorrow! Best of luck!!:D

Well that sucks..I haven't sold anything on Ebay in a while..but according to that article..Sellers can't leave Negitive feedback on deadbeat buyers..What's up with that?
You're right that does create a vacuum! I haven't been on Ebay in a long time!!

I probably do enough Ebay business for the entire board. As to feedback, most of them are automatic (i.e. electronic response): the sellers give the buyer exactly the same rating as they get from the buyer!!! So yes, you can give deadbeat buyer/seller bad rating, although I found that whenever I raised any issue up to Ebay, the seller tends to respond right away, and in a positive way. So have not had to resort to negative ratings yet. I have been mainly a buyer, not a seller.

Both IBM and Ebay posted higher earnings than estimates after hours :)
They did GREAT, but:
I don't think it will be that bad today, what else will pop up?

Merrill Lynch has fared worse than its peers in a Standard & Poors bank index

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The pain isn't over for Merrill Lynch & Co.
The investment bank Thursday missed even the drastically lowered estimates for its first-quarter results, reporting a net loss of $1.96 billion, or $2.19 per diluted share.
The company also plans to cut about 4,000 jobs, or about 10% of its workforce, excluding financial advisers and investment associates. It will focus the reductions in its global markets and investment banking division.
Net revenue was $2.9 billion, down 69% from the prior-year period, primarily due to net writedowns totaling $1.5 billion related to asset-backed securities and a downward adjustment of $3 billion related to hedges with financial guarantors.[more]

Happy Birthday to your Mom!!! Yep, think I'm going to burn something this weekend, just haven't made up my mind what!! Made some money yesterday, looking for more upside but the market needs a rest after yesterday's gains. I think I will take some off of the table today, hate just to lose it all back!!

Hi Nnut and KC:

Can't beleive the winter we are haivng in WA. state. Took the wife and escaped to Santa fe for two weeks..We had a good time but it even snowed in Santa Fe..can't escape the stuff. Then coming ack we hit snow in the Montana and Idaho passes...sheesh...enough already...Then the weather man says we could have 4 more inches this weekend...I should have gone to Florida for vacation..

Still sitting 50 stocks - 50 G...down about 3% for the year...one of these days things will turn around...I'm hopng we're near the bottom...but with the dollar in so much pain, and the mortgage crisis still looking us in the eye, I'm think we're still not there yet..I hope Tom's right and we're close..

Hope you guys are doing well.

FS
