I jump into the Market and a SKUNK jumps out of the bushes and sprays the hell out of me! Next week will probably be down, What happened to that 20/50 MA necktie!:confused:

Also I know you realize, a "confirmation" day is still needed (basically a day holding below the 50dma), so, there's still maybe a chance, especially with opex.

One more point, check this link - this guy changed his tune,TA picture, 180 degrees today -just to note/consider... http://caldaroew.spaces.live.com/

Thought I would hang in there to avoid the Old Whipsaw, that wasn't such a good idea. Monday probably will be a down day then PPI, CPI EARNINGS! Life goes on!!

Appreciate clarification also. I was watching that same crossover, I just went a day earlier (odd, but seemed to work). Much Thanks, & best of luck, both.

And as soon as we get those numbers we'll be waiting for the next set of numbers because the next set of numbers will be even more important. It doesn't end. Life goes on.
 
Uptrend's charts are very useful and specific, but he also seems to be aware that he believes the market could breakout or breakdown at this point. He believes there might be a short covering rally. It might well occur, but personally I have chosen to stay in G or F as a conservative measure (capital preservation). Especially in light of the fact that we are in a bear market with economic numbers pointing either to a recession or confirming one. Best wishes! :)

Nope, still in, let's hope the CPI is nice tomorrow. The Market cast off the PPI numbers today and may be smart enough to do the same thing tomorrow, especially with INTEL'S good numbers after hours. Hang in there for the bounce!View attachment 3729
 
NICE BOUNCE today, now if it will hold and continue up or sideways tomorrow? You know what they say about a Bear Market, sell the Bounce / Buy the Low!!
