Going to stick it out in the "C" and "S" Funds. Thanks to Oil prices we didn't fall too far (YET). No "I" Fund for me, the Dollar has been kinda strong. Waiting for an opportunity to dive back into the "G" and wait it out until around September. Hope I don't wait too long.:*

Good luck in your Transfers!!:^

Looks like we hit an OIL SLICK? Down we go. Maybe a bounce tomorrow?:*

Boing!!

YES, you can always tell when the market has a big loss. Not much action on the board, lots of feelings hurt!:*Why didn't I know? Why didn't they tell me? this is stupid I should have been in the "G" fund!

Yes it happens every time. All we can do is hope it's better tomorrow, but I wouldn't count on it. How about that Microsoft? Oil still isn't that bad.:i

Well?

Bounce "Off The BAT" rollin' down hill again but will proobably end up by the end of the day. Gone to the"G" Fund to get the crummy "penny", REST and get my stuff together.:zz

The majority of the time when Old Greenspud has spokenthe market has reacted with an UP. Sometime it was short lived, but UP. Hope he holds with the "measured" rises in interest rates. Gas still looks good, SOOOOOO, 70% "C" 30% "S" COB today:shock:Going for it!:l

imported post

Well, it went like I thought it would . Big jump after Greenspud talked----THEN something happened? Profit takin'? No! Oil drop? No! WHAT the He--!!!! Still in waiting for the next surprise!!!:*:end:EFA up on a stronger dollar? (last time I looked) Think it might be time to GET OUT!

"Breaking news":^

But stocks and bonds both rallied in the last five minutes of the session, amid reports that a key sentence had accidently been deleted from the statement.

The sentence, "longer-term inflation expectations remain well contained," did not drastically change the basic message -- that rates will keep rising, that inflation pressures are growing and that the recent slowdown in the economy is not going to change the pace of rate hikes.

However, the sentence did seem to imply that maybe "the Fed is not as worried about inflation as had been thought," said Stephen Stanley, chief economist at RBS Greenwich Capital.

"If that's the case, that's good for both the stock and bond markets," he added. "And so you saw both react in a way they might not have had the sentence originally been there."

Maybe Tomorrow!!!:l

Was thinking about a IFT to the "I" Fund today, but the Dollar changed my mind. Watching out for tomorrow!:sThe "G" is for me!:oo

This Market has a BAD HABIT of "giving then taking back more"

AND I'M SICK OF IT!!!:@

Well, someone let Greenspud speak again and now.......:s Glad I went to G yesterday after the gain. New strategy: Any good gains should be followed with a big conservation move! Had F,C, S, I and sold all but I yesterday; selling it tonight when the green international fund gives up more! For the first time this year I caught back up...

Any good gains should be followed with a big conservation move!
I couldn't agree more! :^ Now that the Market is in a "Consolidation MODE". Which means "WE TAKE BACK YOUR GAINS"!! Let's wait for a drop and get back in!:dude:For some reason I don't feel good about tomorrow?

It has worked for me twice in the last week. Wait for a clear sign of an up-day, decide the degree of exposure, jump in then bail immediately. Holding just doesn't work any more.

EXACTLY!!!

OOPS Oil up again! UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN?

Well, shall I dive back in? Monday may be a down:{ off of today's UP:}????

HUMMMMMMMMMM<> Thinking? :*

imported post

That's the question; money in the hand versus money gone Monday. May stay G which is due for a penny soon. A penny is better than a loss! Have a good weekend.

imported post

Yes! I want my PENNY!! :lSo gonna stick with the "G" for now. Oil up past $52! :'

With the Trade Figures coming out this week [they couldn't be good], Dollar pretty strong this morning, and the "Summer Sink" on it's way I'll stay with the "G" for awhile.:oo
