Yes I do hate it, but I've seen years where it did better than the "C"! When the conditions are right it just goes nnuuts! Need to really figure this thing out. I know that when interest rates are dropping or sometimes when the market under performs the "F" does good, but it's not consistent. Cause I am ignorant>

The bond market operates off of negative sentiment and psychology. If the economy does well then the price of bonds will drop and rates will go up. If we are headed into a real economic slowdown then bonds will rally and rates will drop. The bond market is deathly afraid of inflation. Frankly I operate most of the time with a positive outlook so I seldom bother my self with the F fund. I wouldn't even consider buying a bond fund unless the ten year rate was at 7% rather than 4.62%. Not much wiggle room at this level.

Here is the problem, we don't understand how BONDS work! Can anyone give us an education? I'm not good at the "F" fund. I hate it it because I dont understand it completely. HELP!:embarrest:

Still 100% "G" fund. Yep, the markets drifting higher NASDAQ up 9 might have known it. Hope the 14:30 plunge don't slap it back down!

Somethings happening here, what it is ain't exactly clear, there is a S&P fund over there that just jumped up for no apparent reason. Hey! people whats that sound!
