I still want that 50 cent tax on exported gas to keep our gas in country.:(
What ever works, they need to do something. They are starting to import Brent gas and oil to the eastern USA, you know how much that costs.

What needs to be done is they need to freeze open trading of oil in the stock market. That's what has oil up so high. Not supply and demand.

These days, people buy dollars when they are looking for a port in a storm. So, stock market up, dollar down. Putting economic theory squarely on its head (breakdancing, anyone?)

The dollar is dropping like a rock, and will cost us all money.
The Wife and I are going on vacation for a month in April, bought the tickets last week. Now the dollar is is falling and we have to buy EUROs when we get to Spain that's what I call INFLATION!!

Wow!! Have a great time. I guess the rest of us will have to pick up the slack. Remember pictures. Lot's of pictures.

As far as dollar vs. Euro you still have a month for the dollar to catch up. :D

We are going to Cadiz, the Wife's hometown, it's the oldest continually habituated city (over 3,000 years) in western Europe, plenty to take pics of over there. There is an INTERNET Solon right around the corner from her Mom's house so I will be able to drop in occasionally, but might need some help.
Here's a pic down the stairwell in Mom's 280 year old house:

Ha! Look what I found at my village market all the way over here!

Imagine that!

Hope they're not some peanuts they found from 1916! :toung:

Ok, so I found out that the '1916' on the package is a new company from Hilo, sort of local Trader Joe's brand.

The significance of '1916' ? no clue, yet.

Are you and your wife going on a cruise to Spain or travelling on your own? I always wanted to visit that country.

Not a cruise just visiting family, but there is plenty to do and see close to Cadiz, Gibraltar is 60 miles Seville is 80 miles and I haven't seen all of the sights in Cadiz like the Roman amphitheater or Coliseum that they found about 5 years ago, the problem is that it's right under the old city. I recommend Spain, lots of fun if you like to party.

Looks like it might be a Tornado night in GA. but not half as bad in Tennesee and Kentucky, wish us luck! I hate it when this happens, we don't have basements or anything like that in GA. tornado.gif

It appears the bad storms are above us and below us, got my fingers crossed. Terrible stuff happening, my prayers go out to the people lost and their families.

We have some pretty high winds here. Just looked at radar and there is some nasty stuff moving into Georgia. Good luck Norm.
