Financial stocks pressured by Volcker rule

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Financial stocks declined Friday, weighed down by the likes of Bank of America Corp and Morgan Stanley, after a draft of regulations limiting speculative trading by big banks was leaked.
The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF XLF -3.18% , which tracks the financial stocks included in the S&P 500 Index -105 SPX -1.05% , fell 1.4%, and the KBW Bank ETF KBE -4.17% declined 1.8%.
Bank regulators plan to release a draft of the long-awaited “Volcker rule” for public comments on Tuesday. The rule, an offshoot of the Dodd-Frank Act and named for former Federal Reserve chief Paul Volcker, seeks to prohibit big banks from most speculative trading and limit their investments in hedge funds and private-equity funds to reduce risks to the financial system.

Not that bad!:o I did drop 1,000 posts but I think it's Temporary. I'm sneaking up on the 20,000 post level when I reach that I will probably get a Woopi Button or a Winki Dink or something?:rolleyes:

What? I know about some old purges but when did you drop 1000 posts? Recently?

I'll run the update post count script now to get them as accurate as possible.

Just the other day or I'm NNUUTS or something, I had about 19,850 then all of a sudden 18,850 or so. It's happened before you know you have lost a bunch. Did you delete the posts in the Politics Forum, if so that was it, I posted a bunch in that one. Hey no Big Deal I'm only 977 away from 20,000 now, give me a week or so I'll catch up.:laugh:

After you guys made me a moderator I pretty much stop watching my post totals. :toung:
 
Busy Huh? No sweat for me it happens when Tom cleans up the Board, last time I lost about 700 and every time Tom got over 10,000 posts he would drop below but he finally made it but has lost more than anyone. One way I knew something happened is that my average post per day dropped from 7.73 to 7.13 in one day that would have to be a bunch of posts to drop that average that much. I'm such a Post Whore!:embarrest:
