Don't rush it, but when it gets here you have to make the best out of it and I plan to!!! It is a good Idea to live those 16 years 7 Months first!!

Congrats Nnuut. I have made my inquiry on retirement dates. Right now May of 2012 is the target (I still have a few bills to pay off). That will give me actual 41 years, 6 months and +/- a few days. With sick leave added on 42+ years.

That's over 80%, good hit!!!!! I'd need another 4 or 5 years to match that, don't want to be 70 when I retire so that's OUT!! Best of luck, let the countdown begin!!!

Now that I've made up my mind to retire, everyone keeps asking me what in the world will I do with my time!!! NO PROBLEM!
NOT working for somebody else, no Sir!!
Not me, I might be open for a private business thing, but I've been working a LOOONG time and am BURNT OUT, I've got plenty to do when I retire.
1. Get of bed when I WANT TO!
2. Catch up on my Honey DOs!
3. Play around with my guitars.
4. Might start Oil painting again?
5. I like to do wood work in my shop.
6. I like to work with metals in my shop, making a pig cooker right now.
7. I enjoy restoring Old Cars, Might look for a project? Anybody know where I can find cheap, old, derelict COBRA?

8. Drink and BBQ
9. Hang around the pool, BBQ and drink.
10. Travel around with the wife, we like to go to casinos, gamble, eat and DRINK.
11. Take a few cruises, gamble, eat and drink!
12. Go to Spain and visit her Family, great place Cadiz, great food Great Wine Rioja my favorite, Ponchi.
13. Get out of bed when I want to.
