New To TSP Talk, But Not TSP

Hey Everyone!

I had a question about interfund transferring, but needed to join in order to ask. So...here I am...lol

55 yrs old, plan to retire on my 60th birthday. It will be the end of the pay/work period, and a Friday! I'll have 29 yrs and 5 mos. My current TSP value is ~$670K. I've been contributing 15% for as long as I can remember into the C (50%), S (30%) & I (20%) Funds.

My question, though I already moved on it because I couldn't stand to watch the C & S Funds begin their dive, is I was wondering if anyone else decided to move out of their domestic growth funds (C & S) for a while and into the G Fund (to maintain value) while the new Administration continues to make decisions that aren't (IMO) in our best economical interests? I've left 10% in the I Fund with an 80/20 split (G/I) on new contributions for reasons I'll keep to myself for now.

Good move? Bad move? Meh?

Thanks!

Kevin
