Glad Buster is surviving the new addition, and hasn't killed the new addition. Several years ago, new naive neighbor kit decided to come visit, got bored, tried to play with my guys 10 times bigger. The big guys were deeply disturbed at the visitors proximity already, nerves stretched thin, snapped when kit approached one to play. kit rolled over and went inert when got tackled and rolled when the big guys' nerves snapped. when I hauled the big guys off the kit, he didn't move, just laid there, even though I could see no blood. Took a minute before kit suddenly miraculously came back to life, jumped up and hightailed it for home, never came back to visit. my guys had no time for children that evening. grumpy old men.

It seems you are collecting more cats, are you working on a HERD? Poor kitty doesn't know what he will missing, both of them!
I know HERD isn't the WORD!

Update on Little Leo:

Buster has grown (slowly) to accept Leo is here to stay..his vocal outbursts of dislike are minimal now and there is more playing than hissing..

Leo is 6 months old now and getting big as a horse...8 pounds...When he first arrived, he was only 2.2 pounds.

Taking it easy in the afternoon sun after a little romp with Buster.

I have a neighbor that is Navy retired and she is into cat rescue. She feeds two colonies of about 20 cats each - she also traps and neuters to keep the population in control and is spending a lot of money on this mercy mission. She also has a number of cats in her house and about five that are back yard cats and one male that protects the front yard - he actually wants to be my cat. Why am I telling you this - several years ago I approached our local mail carrier and asked him what he does with left over coupon mailings - he said he throws them away at the end of his route. He now drops off the weekly extras to my neighbor so she can get the cat food coupons. There is good in the world. And I actually get a few extra coupons for myself. I told her the IRS would allow her to deduct her expenses and that seems to have worked out fine.

Glad Leo is settling in. Which Sonic beverage does he prefer? Where was Buster the cat, does he have his own TV? Pet lovers want to know these things. Keep the thread up to date.

LOL...

Leo likes unsweetened Ice Tea while lounging watching 'Day of Our Lives'....and yes, Buster was on the other bed watching 'The View", sipping on a Monster Kona-Blend energy drink, with remote in paw, cause he changes channels at the commercials so much (buzzed a little I think)...damn I hate when he does that...reminds me of the ex that did the same thing.:suspicious:....Sorry, I digressed...:D
