Nearly 46,000 businesses slashed 401(k) contributions during pandemic

Some 9% of 401(k) plans have cut contributions to employees or are considering doing so to save costs during the Covid pandemic, according to a new survey.

Very unfortunate, and what timing. If there was any a time to put long term money to work in the market it was Spring 2020. This is yet another reason why people are recklessly trying to shoot the moon with a few beloved high flyers.

I can see this being the next "bail out" in 20 years when those high flying "millionaires" see their dreams implode somewhere along the way.
