Yeah, another post from the Dust Bowl Revival "Groupie"...

So they have a new album out..."Is It You, Is It Me ?" It's moving away from their old "hillbilly" roots, but that's what I guess musicians need to do...

Gotta admit...don't like that the mandolin and upright bass player left, but..."creative differences", I guess...still got the brass...

This new album moves in a totally different direction, but I gotta admit...it's growing on me !!! Check their web site, and go see them live, if you can !!!

So the Grand Niece Sonja and Hubby are trying to break our fixation on Dust Bowl Revival...:worried:

BTW...they live in Mt Juliet, TN...tornado passed through their subdivision ; house 4 doors down is GONE ! They have some roof damage, and lost their deck and fence, but are okay....still able to live in their house and work from home, while waiting for USAA to fund the needed repairs. Their religion served them well !!! Pray for all those folks in TN...

Anyway, Grand Niece Son In Law (GNSIL ? Is that even a thing ?) sent me a link to a new band, and said "Check them out ! I think you'll like them !!!"

Never heard of Bishop Gunn...what do you think ???

...but I gotta admit...STILL fixated on Dust Bowl !!!

Got into a discussion with my musician Friend...we agreed that the new album has some serious problems...just doesn't "sound" good, to me !!!

Found this clip of 4 "live" songs from their new album...sounds better to me than the album versions !!! Friend said "Damn !!! You're becoming an audiophile !!!"

Not using vinyl, or tube type equipment, but I just know what sounds good to me...
