Very nice and how true and well said. I listen to these heart touching tunes a lot, for various reasons. So much talent and underrated musicians who don't get the recognition and you never hear them mentioned or nominated for Grammys etc. They probably don't care for awards, but they do have a fan base who appreciate their music. These guys can really pour their hearts out and write songs that really pull at the old heart strings. I would bet that perhaps no one in the forum has heard of Teitur or even less Emmett Tinley, perhaps not the best singer, but the lyrics, oh the lyrics. E. Tinley probably could care less about "the applause at the end"........ Teitur is right, "singing is about giving a piece of yourself to others". Like this:
