Moving funds or change investment mix question

New to TSP plus and just doing a lot of reading (most I dont understand lol). But, when they post they moved X% to C,S,I,F,G, are they moving all their funds or reallocating future investments? I'm kinda hesitant to move funds as a whole as I'm making money as they are now...but I'm sure I can make some more educated decisions. My current is L10% C 50% S30% I10%. The I-Fund seemed to have done well for me from what I see YTD but it may change and I was curious if I should move what I have now and buy into C or S. I know advice is not guaranteed in here but understanding the process may help me in general.

thanks so much.

It's all about risk and how comfortable you are taking that risk. It looks like you have FOMO (fear of missing out). :) We all get that sometimes. You may want to join one of the premier services. Just remember the "G" fund is your safe zone. Overall, I would say your percentages look good. Maybe balance the percentages in the "C" & "S" funds. My bet is you'll get a few more suggestions.

Welcome kcberk21!

We are moving all of our funds - our entire balance is moving to that new allocation.

Cautious this week with most in G, and I leading equity holdings. With Bessent asserting the USA will never default, that seems like a pump before the dump! We'll see how bond vigilantes move this week. Hope I'm not overweighted in F at 5%.

Thanks bagstr35,
This is the stuff I read and don't understand. I hope as I keep up with it and research certain terms, I can get a better overall understanding of some of these messages. Its a lot to grasp when everyone seems to speak a whole different language sometimes in my head.
thanks for your reply.
