More credit card debt might be good for the economy

Seriously... How about we jump start the economy with good growth policies so that people make more money (or get jobs) so they can spend more instead of buying on debt. Does this guy work for the Treasury??? idiot

RMI, Great idea if most of us lived within our means. I pay off my credit cards monthly but I could /should do better to stay closer to my comfort level. What I mean by that is I should have more in savings than I do just in case of an emergency. Unfortunately many out there will just get farther into debt with the more money they make. Not even going to get into the housing fiasco.

I cannot believe that anyone would see what is going on with the economy, the housing market, et al; and NOT feel the urge to get their own house in order.
