I don't know if v2 will have GPS. I was trying to hold out for v2 also but gave in. Got my wife one too. I will get my moneys worth out of it for sure as I am traveling at least 4 days a week. Got so sick of using an old PDA that did everything but did everything very poorly.

I only found this site about 2 months ago but have learned a lot from everyone here. Quite a cast of characters here :)

I'm way behind the curve in my financial knowledge but it's never to late to learn.

I was very dissapointed to see the new IFT limitations soon after joining. I am doing what I can to help stop IFT limits but not near what some are doing. I appreciate their time and effort on my behalf. I have other time consuming battles going on now, don't need a new front right now:)

Looks like another nice call on I 12%!

I'm going to hold the same another day, hoping to recover a little.

Quickly learning that buying low and selling hi is not as easy as it sounds lol.

With fewer moves available I'm thinking of following optionmans moves for next 6 months while learning more.
 
Change of plans. 100% I for tomorrow then probably G/F for awhile. Like a cat on a freeway, which way to go?

Looking like there will be a -FV if the US market continues lower.
 
I'm still in 100% I and will finally make back some of my losses today. I'm leaving it in and hoping this isn't a 1 day bounce. If the early USM momentum holds today I'm thinking it will keep OSMs rolling along tonight. What's up with N300?, at least its green.



Any thoughts on how an Obama or McCain Presidency will affect the markets?

Warning - Biased opinion, and only the gut initial reaction. Later reactions by markets will depend on actual policy and if the policy gets passed/works.
McCain - Ok, it's a Republican. Markets in the U.S. will be happy. Other markets will lose faith in $ expecting more borrowing to fund wars in Iraq/Afganistan. Financials will expect a bailout. Possible surprise increase in regulations on Financials because it's McCain.

Obama - Ok, it's a Democrat. Markets in the U.S. will be unhappy as they will expect taxes to go up, at least an attempt at more regulations of markets, and possible bailout for borrowers. Financials will expect to get kicked in the :( with no bailout. Other markets will be cautiously more optimistic hoping that the buyer beware financial instruemnts and keep lowering the interest rate Fed actions will stop.

However, the overall state of the economy and what happens subsequent to the election will in time override these gut reactions.
 
We have another fighter in Iraq - the Sunni tribal Awakening Council movement. These tribal leaders are looking upon Al-Qaeda as a tribal right to revenge. They don't want the Iraqi government or the U.S. forces to interfere with their revenge tactics. The Sunni are now saying it is an open war against Al-Qaeda. Obama would interfere and pull our troops too soon - we are dealing with an issue of honor.
 
I don't mind staying if we actually pay for it, but McCain is saying tax cuts and staying in Iraq, much to my .... surprise, considering he usually is very fiscally responsible. Putting a war on a credit card upsets me greatly.
 
Exactly, it's about honor and principle at this point. I don't agree with everything GW has done but when this thing started; people tend to forget his statement that this may last ten years. All they see is the statement on the aircraft carrier(Mission Accomplished.) That's all they want to gripe about. We haven't completed anything we started since World II except for Grenada, Whoopee! The world knows us as a bunch of quitters.:o

Giddy-Up Sunnis, have at it!

I predict Obama will be our next President as a result of Bush policy backlash (right or wrong) and lack of a legitimate conservative opponent (low conservative turnout). Having said that what sectors would you be looking into long term if you thought Obama was going to be elected Birchtree or anyone else ?
