Microsoft Money and TSP

I just recently purchased Microsoft Money 2005, and I don't know how to enter information in the Investing section for my TSP?

How have other forum members used Microsoft Money 2005?

How did you enter TSP information?

What have you been able do to?

I need all the information I can get. This is very frustrating for me.

MS-Money cannot download TSP fund share prices to the best of my knowledge.

I use it and must enter everything manually.

It works very well for scottrade, though (though I must enter dividends/capital gain distributions from my mutual funds manually there as well).

....but I have tried to enter information manually but MS Money would not accept it because.....

For example: the TSP does not have a ticker symbol or the index associated with the S Fund, the Dow Jones Wilshire 4500,is not listed.

...I would like to use MS Money to understand my TSP better because I have very little experience with investing terminologies, and analysis. And I am embarrassed to say that I don't understand the TSP.gov website (even though I have overheard my co-workers say it is soooo easy to understand). I would like to be able to analyze my TSP efficiently.

The guess my question is what information were you able to enter successfully? I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

I assigned them names "G Fund", etc.- and no ticker symbol. My version of MS-Money (not 2005) let me do it.

Back at the beginning of the year (Feb) Rolo was asked about working on this problem w/Microsoft. Did he ever get it to work with TSP?
