Medic72's Account Talk

tyty for the positive messages! its all goin ok i reckon. just watching the up and down and up and down again :)

worried about the bear and his cubs atm, my problems seem miniscule at this point, just another message as i like to pass them along frequently, be happy when you wake up and take that breath, we never know when we are gonna take the last one!

keep safe everyone.

yeah thats how I roll!.... anyway im still moving and cleaning, don't have time to sit and watch and get it in by 12:00 if i wanted to i dont think.

anyway, what goes down, MUST come back up! (unless this guy destroys our america)

Ok it is time for me to reveal some of the Birch Compilation :)

(by the way i love them all, they motivate me so so so much)

the risk of not being in the market now exceeds the magnitude of the risk of being in the market. Be in to win.

but you my friend are not old enough yet to be my dad so I don't have to listen to you.

A 300 point melt up day would take them jokers one step closer to religion.

punish the rascals and punish them some more.

Fortunately this thread usually has the sweet smell of superlative bull manure wafting around especially now that spring has arrived and the barn doors are opened up. To me it smells alot like the scent of green money.

Allah I feel like something hard and flat resembling a shovel fell on my head yesterday

you want to play you'll have to pay

I was just thinking there are reasons the bull has four legs - we are currently experiencing leg #1. How high - who cares. Just clear the roadways please

The train is only in Las Vegas heading to NYC - but be careful of the tunnels when things might go dark on occasion. I'm on the ride all the way.

frankly I'm better off if all folks stay on the lily pad. Snort!!

The bottom line is you have to be in to win. And make no mistake the bull will do everything to shake you off his back - because the bull wants to take as few for the ride as possible.

If I absorb those gains does that make me selfish

I'm getting so bullish I'm starting to stink like Ferdinand - that sweet smell of superlative bull manure is wafting across the MB. Snort.

ok enough for now :) hope ya dont mind birch lol.

You no longer have WorkFE drafting your ride to the top - he'll try to get back in soon I suspect but a few days of safety can be expensive. The higher up on the tracker you get the more burdensome your decisions become wanting safety. When you decide to go to safety you'll have me over your shoulder - just thought you should know that. I'm slowly making my own progress so don't count the turtle out. Heck, they all sound like me for sure. Snort. Thanx. One of my best ones though is: Capitalism without failure is like religion without hell.

im kinda bummed out after reading most of the latest posts on the boards, i dont get it, why why why do we have to have so many negative people lol.

We live in a great country, one that most of us have served in uniform and one that we ALL work for. Agreed we have a hella mess in the white house, ill be the first to tell you that BUT how do we expect it to improve if all everyone is saying is NEGATIVE, sickens me.

if people are just ill about missing the gains, shave some of that bear fur off and push the IFT comfirmation button, if not suck it up, be proud of our history and our future, because no matter what we are not going to fail, our country will not fail, once it gets bad enough the PROBLEM will be removed.

I PROMISE it's not as bad as it could be, be happy you are alive, are not in a hospital bed with a terminal illness, or like our buddy SB fighting for his life! (get better buddy, and listen to the doctor)

Wake up America! be happy for what you have and positive in OUR future.

anyway if ya cant be positive at least enjoy the gains of the day instead of finding 309,088 ways that it will drop back down.

M72,
I have found that there is a plus to having optimism and pessimism on the MB. It helps in the decision making process and strikes a fair balance. I am certain that some people maybe bummed about missing some gains. I highly doubt they are peaved about some one elses fortunes. Except for the highly competetive individuals and there are a few but that has nothing to do with ones fortunes and everything to do with pride.
If this MB was one sided I can probably name a few members who would not be here. I personally subscribe to this MB specifically for the differing and often heated competitive views.
I for one wish for everyones continued success and hope that all continue to make wise decisions based on their individual analysis, professional consultation and plain old GUT feeling.

Optimism?

You want Optimism I’ll give you Optimism.

If we push through the dominant negative trendline that intersects with 943, we will push through 950 and go to 1013 by the end of June.

We are sitting right at a 25%ish retracement from the October 2007 highs, if you are young, now is a perfect time to crank up those contributions. ;)

i agree work and thanks for reading this.

i value both sides of the argument as well as anyone, im not complaining about the people and the views they have and what they want to do in the market. Just all the negative outlook of our america.

i dont want to change anyones opinion of the market at all, as i know very little about it myself, just if we have a good day, dont complain about it, "oh its not gonna last" or here are 2 good things, but there are 200 bad things.

be happy about the good things, it is our positive thoughts and actions that will bring us out of this recession in the future anyway, why not practice now for tommorow :)

All these positive vibes coming from somebody whos house burned down a few weeks ago. Theres a lesson in there somewhere... :)

Ode to Medic72:

"Coach (John) Wooden's (Basketball Hall of Fame, UCLA Bruins) father taught him and his brothers what his father called 'the two sets of three' for living their lives.

The first set was about being honest with ourselves:
Never lie
Never cheat
Never steal

The second set was about being honest with ourselves:

No whining
No complaining
No excuses

...

In addition to following these rules, Wooden carries a copy of a handwritten, seven-item creed that his father gave him when he graduated from grade school in Centerton, Indiana. The item at the top of the list:

'Be true to yourself.' ... 'Perhaps you fret and think you can't make a difference in the way things are. Wrong. You can make the biggest difference of all. You can change yourself. And when you do that, you become a very powerful and important force."

Medic, I'm still learning myself, so keep that in mind. But for me, I Fund almost works like a leveraged fund. Because it's not just a matter of whether developed markets overseas are up or down. I think the way it goes is:

- If developed markets overseas are up and the dollar is down, I Fund gets a double boost.
- If developed markets overseas are up but dollar is up, I Fund is flat.
- If developed markets overseas are down and dollar is down, I Fund is flat.
- If developed markets overseas are down and the dollar is up, I Fund takes a double hit.

So I Fund is trickier than C or S Funds but can have greater rewards. But you really have to watch what the dollar is doing in addition to watching overseas markets. Others who understand I Fund better may have other ideas. But that's my understanding.

Lady

thank you for that, i understood that easily :) seems like we have a 1 out of 4 chance to make dough lol. ill stick to the c and s i reckon.
