Obama shows more deference to moneyed interests than he does to liberals.

Obama isn’t a real progressive, and not only because his economic team, culled mostly from Wall Street, boasts an elite pedigree.

A year into Obama’s presidency, it is no longer inconceivable, if still unlikely, that he could face a challenge within his own party in 2012, especially if Democrats suffer sizable losses next November.

If today’s liberals are serious about calling themselves progressives, then they may yet have to give up on the ideal of a president who enthusiastically excoriates fat cats

U.S. growth prospects deemed bleak in new decade

Many predicted U.S. gross domestic product would expand less than 2 percent per year over the next 10 years. That stands in sharp contrast to the immediate aftermath of other steep economic downturns, which have usually elicited a growth surge in their wake.

The decline has sapped a principal source of wealth for U.S. consumers, whose spending is the key driver of the country's growth pattern. The steep drop in home prices has also boosted their propensity to save.


"It's very hard to see what will replace it," said Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel laureate and professor of economics at Columbia University. "It's going to take a number of years."

They calm the company is a multilevel marketing scam with very over priced products and the company has a F rating with BBB. Many people have unsubscribed and leaft angry comments. One person wished MOT a "Happy New Year" and 10 people voted it negative.

These videoes are funny with his body language saying that he knows he is selling-out.

In the US, news that the economy shed another 85,000 jobs in December dashed hopes that a quickening labour market turnround could add momentum to the rebound and make it more robust.
