Masters Golf Contest 2017

Instructions for joining the pool entitled 'TSPtalkgolf'

If you are interested in joining the PGA Golf Majors Pool, please follow these steps: (If you played last year you won't have to create a new account... just make your picks).

1. Go to Run your Football, March Madness, Baseball, Golf, and other pools at RunYourPool.com

2. In the Join Password box, enter 'tsptalk99' (without the single quotes)

3. Fill out the form information, including a personal username and password. (Rest assured, this information will NOT be sold or utilized for spam email under ANY circumstances.)

4. Once the tournament field has been finalized, enter your picks, with the ability to change them right up until the tournament's first tee time.

The Masters starts this Thursday so don't wait too long!


For those who haven't checked it out to see how easy it is, you pick one player from each of the 6 tiers. The total score of all 4 rounds is your score, after you drop your worst player's score - so it's the lowest 5 scores (lower is better in golf ) of your 6 players. Easy!

This year's lineup will be out on Monday, I believe.

I heard that he fell down the stairs the day before, so I did a quick switch to Jason Day. That was what got me the victory.

Congratulations to the winners..and the tie-breaking number! I knew I was doomed when I got on-site &saw Johnson had been cut the very first thing; & sure enough, I lost two more by the end of the day. :blink: But, you know what..these fantasy games are really fun... especially since my kids & grandkids think I am 'really something' for participating at this late stage of life! So, many thanks to you, Tom, for sponsoring, and many thanks to you TSP'ers for the competition. Also, thanx to my neighbor who saves her morning newspaper for me to pick up on my way to my various volunteeering duties where we have more lively conversations about the games.

Always nice to hear from you, grandma! I had Johnson too so I felt your pain. We'll get them next time. The Player's Championship is in mid-May.
