General Commentary:
There is a lot of hype but no evidence of a resession. Market growth should be moderate, with a bumpy road ahead. The US housing market and the credit mortages seem to be sturring the pot!
The $SPX is trading below the 13 day moving average and slightly below it's 50 day moving average. The Bollinger bands are showing a moderate volatility.
Economics / Fundamentals:
Economic indicators are running about 3 - 4 (See CNNMoney link). Crude was up $2.99 last week, closing at $91.29....Ouch!

Technical Analysis:
The S&P was down 36.71 points for the week.
We did set some stops, but they got broken at Alert: 1,500 and Trail: 1,485
Me and TSP
My allocations can be found in my signature at the Auto-tracker. The real theme is you own risk tolerance and skills. We need to actively manage our accounts. Not that we want to be glued to the Lilly Pad (G-Fund) but neither do we want to be swimming in a pool of sharks! I enjoy the Premium Services, what is said. However, I make up my own allocation, which is generally based on the L-2010, and L-Income funds.
