Macdaddy's Account Talk

If you are already "in" when the month rolls over you can IFT to any fund twice (2 per month) and still be allowed the default back to "G" at any time for a total of three.
So starting tomorrow (I'm in S), I can move to C then move to I and then hope over to G?

Thanks MacDaddy, Lots of new TSP'rs out there still learning! Good explanations.

Can anybody explain why th AGG chart showed a gain of .26% yesterday, yet at the end of the day it only went up .02%

That chart is always problematic, keep in mind that the Bond Market closes at 15:00 EST, but the chart continues on for after hours trading.
This has always been a mystery.

This market scares the hell out of me :worried:
I've been camped in the "F" fund since the 3rd week of August and I'm getting tired of watching these gains come and go. Since everything is so unpredictable and volatile so I am reluctant to risk anything. Even if I did, timing these recent rallies seems to be more luck than anything else.

I'm buying aggressively worrying too that this market may slap me again - but the direction is forward. Fear is the greatest buy signal everseen in the stock markets. Many investors miss the fact opportunity missed can be just as harmful to achieving investment objectives in the long term as money lost. Ease your way in.

Happy Birthday !!

Norman Fosback is expecting that stocks will gain about 22% in the next 12 months, and he thinks they'll average 11% annualized over the next five years.

Thanks, but I'll consider it more lucky than anything else

Not sure about a re-entry, I'm thinking a pullback is (somewhat) near so I'll likely sit out for a bit and see what develops. I'm not too eager to risk my early good fortune.
