Long Time Lurker, First Time Poster

Hello all, been lurking these forums for about six months usually from my iphone app (tsp talk). If you look at the reviews for the iphone app I am the only one that reviewed the app and apparently the only one using it.

Working for the govt for over 5 years now so I am still a young lad (31 years old). I am learning day by day about everything and anything about the markets and my future. Got about 16% of the paycheck going into my tsp. Every time I get a raise I put in one more percent. If I don't need the money now, I know I will need it in the future hence contributing more to my tsp.

I didn't start playing with my money until recently that is because I was unsure about a lot of things. So for about 4 1/2 years the money sat in the G fund. Now that I am more confident in what I am doing and I believe I will be more active with my retirement.

Congrats, to you on finding this place as early as you did. I did not stumble across this until much later. TSP invest Things go much better, with TSPTALK rather than without. However, this is still the market which is still volatile. Read up as much as you can and you should be profitable? :notrust:
