Sorry, FishSqueezer. You had a lot of company with 3 of the top 5 favs losing. Rough week.

I didn't even watch the end of the S.F. / Chi. game thinking it was over at 20-7 S.F.

So, 73 of the 131 starting are gone after just two weeks. Brutal.

Follows suit with the other two pools I'm in. Over half are out in those, too.

Found a new reason to hat... intensely dislike the 49ers last night! :notrust: What an ugly week of games to pick from, should'a listened to Tom and burned one of my sure-fire picks. Oh well, ya'll have fun!

I just noticed that there were 17 different teams picked to win this week. That's quite a bit.

Great call.

I picked Green Bay in this league because I don't really feel comfortable picking them any other game of the year. As a packers fan, today was quite the scare.
I picked Tampa in a different league... I thought they would handle St Louis with their #3 QB. Plus we have 2 strikes, instead of 1 in that league.

To win this thing you want to have a few good teams left later in the year so sometimes you don't pick the best games early, but of course you have to get to the next week to have a chance. Denver looks like a sure thing unless they overlook the Chiefs and think about their week 3 game at Seattle.

I have my team picked but I won't jinx myself and post it until Sunday morning. Plus I could change my mind. The team I picked is less than a touchdown favorite, which I guess could be any game but Denver or Green Bay.

That's what I meant, did you pick the big favorite or did you gamble a little? I see you gambled a little...or a lot...:laugh:

Wow, only one person picked Steelers and one person picked the Ravens. I was expecting quiet a few more people to drop off.

I avoid divisional rival games at all costs
