Last Man Standing Football Pool 2013

There's a game tonight. Don't forget to get your picks in before the deadline on Sunday - even though the default pick is a 20-point favorite.

I was starting to think you were scalping my trades Tom, now I see you were just scalping Turnips. Just kidding, thanks for doing this pool its a lot of fun.

Sorry ww. As frustrating as it is to be a life-long J-E-T-S fan, I learned never to bet against them because you never know which team will show up.

I didn't check. Were there a lot of Falcons knocked out this week?

Yeah and I'm one of the 9. Thought Matte-Ice would pull it off. Oh well thanks for having the pool Tom.

Denver doesn't see KC until week 11 and then has to play them again week 13, that seems like it was some bad scheduling on the NFL part....almost back to back games for the division?

A lot of people that are left have used Denver. Think with the way the games have been going, we will lose another 10 to 15 this week.

I still have Denver left but I am not using them against Jax...seems like a waste...I'm going for a sleeper pick to lower my point spread differential...I assume that's the tie breaker if multiples make it all the way through...maybe a bad approach who knows

So much for my sleeper pick...I thought the Jets would take care of the Steelers...oh well. Good luck to the rest of you...

Sorry to see you go. As I mentioned above, you never know which Jet's team is going to show up, and unfortunately, none of them showed up yesterday.

They win when you think they should lose, and lose when they should win. Although they were only about a 3 point underdog.

Wha in another group I belong to we pick against the spread and I called a push in that game (NE win with last minute FG), so much for my crystal ball.

I think I mught go and review the NE games over the past 4 years I've picked against the spread and see their % of covering the spread when favored. I know under Brady they are 0-4 in Super Bowls, they weren't favored in the first one against STL. I'd be surprised if they covered point spread favorage in over 20% of their road games.
