Looks like futures up though.

France held elections yesterday -a primary- and the Socialist Candidate Hollande took a huge amount of the vote. It looks like he will easily beat Sarkozy in the coming election, putting a Socialist in power for the first time in 17 years here. Market surge on the news.

P.S.- I'm posting from Paris this morning. the CAC market is very happy today.

Enjoy the trip! I always have fun going back to Germany, Europe is beautiful.
One of these times I'll get to sampling the wine along the Rhein. My family lives only an hour from Koblenz for goodness sake.

I hope to travel in Europe again next year. I fell in love with Italy last year , especially Venice.

Just biked from Venice to Pisa, it was AWESOME!

While Venice was interesting, we really loved Florence.
