Interfund Transfer 3/02 for 3/05/07

Re: Interfund Transfer 3/02 for 3/05/06

Well, we'll get our penny in the G fund today but the F fund is rallying again. It's not resting much. One or two days was all.

We're seeing a modest rally and an impressive reversal considering the over night futures trading, but things are still volatile and as of now the indices have not even cleared Friday's highs. The Dow is more impressive than the broader market.

Unless something very unusual happens in the next half hour, I will stay put in 100% F fund.

If you send your interfund tranfer at 11:59 due they usually get it in that day

Re: Interfund Transfer 3/02 for 3/05/06

The February jobs report came in basically in line with estimates which the stock market likes but it really likes the big upward revision to January's number (111,000 to 146,000) which is killing the bond market - Proving once again that these initial releases are almost a waste of time.

The question is, is this a buying opportunity to get into the F fund, or is this a warning to get out? I'll watch how the day and the AGG chart play out.

... I'll be watching 100.20 on the AGG for support. That was December's high and where the 20-day moving average lies. Also the 99.60 area - trendline and 50-day MA.

Hopefully the fact that the AGG fell to 100.21 today (closed at 100.23) is a sign that 100.20 will hold.
