Why the comment about imagining other names instead? Perhaps you just could not think of any financial people from countries other that the US?

What a surprise. The person in charge of the IMF is a corrupt elitist. One world currency is going to require some peoples to control the prols.

Stocks may go down, you are right. What was your point of your imagination?
 
It was a short recovery and a long fall till the close.

But whether it has anything to do with that clown they arrested?

Who knows, he may have stepped out of line and they are trying to frame the guy.
 
Who's "they"? The ruling party in France? As if they want one of their citizens arrested in the US, right. Even if he was the leading candidate for the opposition and was expected to win. :toung:
Or do the Financial Gurus in in New York want to bring down Greece, and therefore they plotted to get the IMF chief arrested while he was here on personal business? That's really complicated timing, even if it's true. And if it's true, why?

No really good reason for a conspiracy here.

As for corruption, this is more a lack of personal restraint on the part of the IMF Chief - he has a reputation for this, it's just no one has prosecuted, just lots of rumor.
 
I say put him in the general population and perhaps some gentle inmate will shank him and save us lots of money.
 
He's only in jail because he's an obvious flight risk. He definately has enough money to charter a flight to anywhere he wants. So, no, he's not with the general population, but the quarters in a State (not Federal) jail don't come with any amenities.

Well, what I meant was, it's an ordinary jail. Even if he was willing to pay for amenities, there aren't any available.
 
The inmate that killed Jeffery Dahmer is still getting one happy meal a week as a reward for a fine job washing the floors.
