My next question is how do I get the Rookie tag off of my name. I thunk I R past the rookie stage as far as how the TSP works and the system. Just a rookie on this web site.

You keep on posting and we'll make a ol salty dog out of ya. ;) :D Navy lingo at its best.

O.K. Now that I am past 10 posts, how do I get my account started? From what I read (if I'm right) a moderator will need to make one for me? Please advise

Send me a private messsage (PM), using the button on the upper right side. In that message, put your email address. I'll set you up and then PM you back when you are ready to go.

Ah.. Another new person!

Welcome! Great to have you here.

Welcome aboard- there are many, many things to see, things to learn, etc, etc.

Just take your time, and if you have any questions, fire away. Don't rush to try and make a million today- it's best to read around this message board a lot, learn from others, and, when you are ready, carefully decide where you are most comfortable with your own fund allocations. Learn, but be careful out there!

We are all in this together- to help each other make the most of our future retirement funds.

Best of luck, and happy investing.

Ten posts are nothing to accomplish. You're are half way there already. There is a lot of material. James has a good place for new guys/gals to start reading. Basic stuff for a beginner. I'll try to find the link for ya.

Good luck and ask questions.
