I Fund, November

Alright, I'm a newbie here...so be nice. I recently began playing the I fund after realizing I lost a good chunk the first two weeks in October. I'm doing my best trying to understand the news and what you guys post on here, however I still feel like I'm walking blindfolded. Can you please (in layman's terms) help me understand what's happening here. I'm still trying to understand how the FV works & when we're at an advantage/disadvantage to it. Can you translate what you've posted here? Please excuse my stupidity, but I need help.

Since corvette is not here, I'll help you out.

Enjoy.:D

As far as the Fv goes...

If you are not changing your allocations the FV does not effect you at all. However, if you make an IFT on a day there is a FV, the FV will effect the buy/sell price of the I fund shares. When buying you want a -FV, when selling you want a +FV.

Before we had limits on our IFT's, many on this board spent considerable time trying to predict FV's. Now that we have limits, I only give it a small consideration on deciding to make an IFT. Though since August I have avoided the I fund completely because of the rising dollar.

That is actually the first post of the link I posted. It's cool.:)

Folks that have been around here for a while, know that I AM the FV indicator. When ever I jump into the I fund, there will be +FV that day. And ofcourse, when ever I jump out of the I fund, there will be a -FV that day. You can take that to the bank.:D:nuts:
