Yep- leveling off now. Only up 12.36% now.
Attention all you I fund holders.
Tomorrow will be the most expensive day for trading in the history of the "I" fund. Here is why.
We went through a 3-day weekend, and a gazillion people must have placed I fund orders on friday.
If more placed "BUY" than "SELL" orders on friday, then today's market action will have shocked the TSP system.
And then we had today. With the huge reversal, I would bet that a lot of people placed either buy or sell orders today.
Remember, the TSP is CLOSED today. So they are not giving out share values today. They won't give values to shares until tomorrow night at 7 pm.
And with this much swing, Barclays, who IS NOT CLOSED, will be able to determine share value of a HUGE amount of shares, at the close of business tomorrow.
Either they will screw it up big time, and we'll see a huge FV being assigned to make up the difference tomorrow, OR
Barclays will be able to use the day for their own purposes, will give a minimal FV value to it, and pocket the remainder in their I fund slush fund.
Interesting.
Keep track, and let's see how they deal with it tomorrow.
Today, I SHOULD have been up, according to Corvett's numbers $1.17, plus dollar's rise, makes it +.81 cents.
We'll see how they handled it after we get results tomorrow night.
