If the (I) closes with no FV adjustment or deficit payback, its down at
12:56pm a whopping -0.44 tsp cents. I don't foresee a payback coming
of such magnitude. Maybe half, Maybe some, but not enough to offset
this very bearish day.

Did you factor the dollar down 0.6%?

That would give a smaller down estimate.

EAFE estimate down -$0.19
plus FV Friday (previous) of +$0.00 = -$0.19
minus FV for Friday (guess) of $0.12 = -$0.31

It is a little short of FV, but FV is now possible.

dollar down 0.57%

EAFE final down -$0.19
plus FV Friday (previous) of +$0.00 = -$0.19
minus FV for Friday (guess) of $0.12 = -$0.31 :worried:

Wow.
Still a bit away from March 19th of this year.
Dollar can't tank that much more now, can it?
Might be time to go fishing soon.

"He can't go down with three barrels...not with three barrels on he can't"

EAFE final down -$0.19
plus FV Friday (previous) of +$0.00 = -$0.19
minus FV for Friday of $0.17 = -$0.36 final :worried:

No Corvette, I don't factor in such things,,,,,FV,,,,Dollar. It's simply what
the EFA was calling for (in comparison to the I Fund) translated into TSP
cents.

9:56 estimate: -0 cents from market change PLUS -FVC of +17 cents PLUS -16 cents from dollar change EQUALS +1 cent

EAFE final down -$0.22
plus FV Monday (previous) of +$0.17 = -$0.05
plus mystery money or round up of $0.01 = -$0.04 final :worried:

G fund 12.4900 push
F fund 11.9900 down .0300
C fund 15.0200 push
S fund 18.9800 down .1200
I fund 22.1400 down .0400 :worried:

FV for Tuesday (previous) = +$0.00

Strange. All the figures ended in "00". Typo maybe ?

No typo. Right there above the prices it says

"Note: Beginning with share prices for July 1, 2008, the TSP will display share prices to four decimal places."

I wonder if that means the "G" will pay more often? Instead of 1 penny every 5 or 6 days, they might give .25 or .50.

If they pay about 0.002 everyday on the G-fund, people will not be able to catch the G-fund when it goes up a penny.

All of the folks that try to catch the penny on the G-fund will be SOL.

It is getting hard to make a buck. :worried:
