Thanks, and Thank you for posting everyday. I think I speak for alot of us.
WE APPRECIATE IT!!!!!!!

I am beginning to think that there was a very unfair -FV on Friday.

Folks that sold on Friday lost about 2% on the sale.

Traders might consider the C fund or S fund.

Looking back the last two weeks, it appears that the -FV have been on the large size while the +FV have been very conservative or none at all.

IMO(might just be tinfoil as I don't have proof), this might have to do with Barclays capitalization and very little to do with FV calculations or Barclays guessing. According to TSP.gov, they are suppose to keep a certain amount of reserve to trade shares after hours. It's possible that they are running into liquidity problems with this reserve. We all know that they went to the Arab countries begging for bucks last month.

Can anybody think of another explaination?

I agree that the I fund is to be avoided.

I think I am going to request that this RESERVE be monitored and reported on in the FRTIB minutes. I really think we should know how this money is being maintained.:suspicious:

If Thursday's 2% gain doesn't show up soon, we need to raise hell.

A -FV tonight and tomorrow will make it difficult to track what's missing.

Thanks poolman,

But since I don't keep track of the I fund anymore, I'll have to defer this task to corvette. Although, I'll be more than happy to assist.

The day I got out of the I fund, there was a -FV that did not make sense.

Yeah, I miss your posts 350Z....Corvette is soooooo boring:laugh: (J/K brother..keep up the good work!!!)

Anyway, I'm on a smoke break and this guy walks up to me and says,"I know you watch the markets, did you hear that we're in a recession?"

And I say,"No, Really?"

And he says," I think I better look at TSP and see if I can move my money!"

And I say,"You can't. There's none left!!!!!"

It's official:

Monday EAFE final of -$0.5962
plus FV Monday (previous) of +$0.2600 = -$0.3362
minus FV Monday (guess) of -$0.4500 = -$0.7862

dollar up 0.37% = 86.91

With the big swing down today, I will be just have to assume that there was a +fv (previous) of .2600 today.
