Knowing what we saw late today (Friday, 1/28) in the U.S. market, and the TSP giving the I-fund a 0.08% loss on the day, who wished they could move their money into the I-fund for Monday?

Someone must be benefitting from this kind of information. The TSP could have done some fair value adjusting instead of delaying the gains until Monday.

That's a massive -7.43% move today, and yet look how small that candle looks compared to the rest of the chart. Goodness.

EFA one or two down days away from going back to pre-pandemic (2019) value.

At some point I Fund has to have a nice bounce back.... Right?

I mean I get it's beat down due to the double whammy of worldwide economic contraction PLUS the strong dollar.

I continue to dump 1/3 of my TSP contribution in here to keep my allocations somewhat afloat.

Bad idea?

That's one way to do it. Dollar cost averaging has been around a long time, and if you have time on your hands, you should be fine. But if you're looking out a year or two, you may have to grin and bear some uneasy times. The 0% interest days are gone and it may not be as easy going forward as it had been for the market.

Welcome, by the way, Craig! Thanks for joining us.
