All right, I give up. I thought of this when I first heard of this breaking news story. I was going to let it go.

I first heard it in 1968, on the Tonight Show IIRC.

They exchanged gifts. He gave her an antique organ. She gave him an erector set.

This story has been a headline everywhere in the media today. What is wrong with the people of this country? Or is it the MSM? Or is it me, I can't see what is really important?

It is ME and you -- and everyone of us.

On the deepest level it would seem the only really important thing is 'What is the Meaning of Life'?

That on the deepest level largely forces us to recognize that there is very much a Deep and Purposeful Meaning to each and every life -- and that means GOD not only exists but that Meaning would have to stem from GOD.

If any man (woman) would take GOD out of our purpose and meaning - then he (she) would live for themself and their life would reflect that.

If any man (woman) would live their life where GOD is reflected as the purpose and meaning of that life then he (she) would live most centrally to reflect HIS Glory and Grace. In so doing he (she) would do all things for essentially all people and do it in a way that builds them up and brings them the greatest life possible.

Happiness based on the fralities of mankind will be shortlived and end with emptiness and ruin. Happiness based on a Love and Life that can only come through GOD will be full and blessed - overflowing and never end.
