House/ Senate differ on 2014 pay

The democratic-controlled Senate panel yesteday voted out of committee a proposed 1% federal employee pay raise next year-

while the republican controlled House has approved another pay freeze -zero percent-for 2014.

I read this to mean Military members and Defense Dept., civilians, not all FED employees.. ??

Hard to justify an increase when the government is already spending so much more than it takes in.

The problem is the Administration will not even try to cut the REAL waste, in fact the POTUS sets a bad example on a daily basis. Billions and billions are just thrown away every year on crap, but we can't afford to pay government workers, political WAR GAMES. Hell just print up some more, can't hurt anything. It's time to Storm the Bastille.
