Home Page script issue

I found this. I don't know if it will help, or if you're able to do this at work, but I'm not sure what else to try...

... you can easily turn off script error debugging, notifications, or both in IE, but they are typically enabled to alert you of a problem.

Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and to disable debugging, check "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other)". To disable just the notifications (which I recommend you try first), uncheck "Display a notification about every script error".

no related issues reported by smart phone operators.

perhaps it is all an evil plot to convince desktop/laptop users of the obsolescent futility inherent in remaining chained to a cumbersome machine and encourage them to migrate to an nsa/gps-enabled portable wireless network computing device.

the better to see you with, my dear.

Can't do it at work but have the same problems at home on notebook that I do have access to.

Checking at work I see that I am running Flash Player ActiveX Version 11.8.800.94. The current version at Adobe is 11.9.900.117.

Will let you know tommorow if that fixes it.

I'm still getting the script error and even today opening this page of this thread, get same error.

"A Script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to Run Slowly. Do you want to continue..."

The folks at VB are basically saying, "it's not us". It seems to be related to browsers and Adobe Flash Player and my suggestion would be to Google the error along with any personal browser / versions, info, etc. and see if any fixes have been reported.

I did find this...

Adobe Flash Player - WorldStart Tech & Computer Help Forums with a solution starting on post #3. It says...

I would uninstall Flash Player completely. It may have issues, corruption, etc. After uninstalling restart the computer and download the most current version of Flash Player. See my blog here. There is a Flash Player removal tool you can use.
Adobe Flash Player

Might also take a look at the other add-ons you have installed. Disable or remove any that you do not use or need that may be causing a conflict.
