After stumbling across Tsptalk I have been reading and learning for the past two months. I am very late to the game in joining a great group of knowledgeable people and wish to learn as much as possible. My career path is unusual as I worked mostly part time for 25 years Justice/DHS, FERS, but managed to contribute as much as possible for the entire time. My little nest egg is a wonderful blessing that still has many years to grow. All of you wonderful Tsptalk members will contribute to that with the wealth of opinions and knowledge on this site. My tsp account will be somewhat conservative because I have some of Birchtree's wallflowers outside of retirement. Trying to determine how to account for that additional risk of individual stocks. Keep up the writing and I will be reading, reading, and more reading.

Welcome, Tawny27, and good luck. It sounds like you are on the right track. You are right about the folks here - I really get a lot out of what they post, and my performance has improved greatly during my time here, although I still have lots of room for improvement.
