Hello from Philadelphia

...or should I have said, "Yo! from Philly." (South Philly talk)

Not sure where to post my question, but I'd like to know when members are making changes to their TSP allocation, is it wise to initiate an inter-fund transfer concurrent with the allocation change? I realize I may have opened Pandora’s Box with my question, as I’m aware it may take some additional information on my end before someone can answer. If this is the case, I’ll post elsewhere.

Thanks all.
Welcome JDF - TSP allocation is limited to two a month OR <1% which has it's own thread. Based on that, read the interesting ways people move their money. Allocation/movement. I see alot of people allocate to G and then determine the investment line with their IFT moves. This way they don't automatically LOSE money on deposit day.

Welcome again and read the threads....they are SOOO informative!

I'm glad I've found this website and happy to be here. My name is John. I've been a DoN employee for 10, almost 11 years. I've been contributing to the TSP my entire career with the exception of the first six months of my federal employment.
