Hello everyone

I am military stationed in England and about to PCS to sunny Travis AFB. I just got involved in my TSP about two weeks ago and have no clue what I'm doing. I have been reading many of your guys' posts but still need to do a lot of research. I started contributing to my TSP about two years ago and I'm happy with the outcome so far. Something is better than nothing, right? I look forward to learning and hopefully making my retirement a bit easier.

Welcome, I hope you studied the weather at Travis, remember it is next to San Francisco, and maybe not that sunny:laugh:

Rule #1 - Retire after twenty years, get another job and retire as soon as possible.....A Military Retirement is like having someone give you a million dollar annuity. No other company does that, unless you can get to the executive level fairly quickly.

Rule #2 - Plan, plan, plan!

I was stationed 30 minutes south of Travis AFB at Mare Island NSY before it shut down. Beatiful weather out there with losts of places to visit and things to do.
