I will tell you that in the fall of 1968 my fire base at Bao Loc in the Central Highlands was overrun and 15 of my friends with the 173rd Airborne Brigade, 3rd Battalion of the 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment were killed. I won't tell you how many VC were dead on our wire. I still visit Vietnam at least every six months or so when I go to bed - fell out of my bed three times last year. The fighting goes on....old warriors perservere.
 
Thanks HB. As hard as it was for me to watch this, because of memories supressed, it reminds me how right I am to be four square against the current conflict in SW Asia. I never in my wildest dreams did I expect to relive the RVN nighmare at the ripe ol age of 65. I still tear up when I view the "Wall" maybe a bit less than before, but still...... God bless all of us that share the bond from that era.

Last Friday I was going to do a IFT but forgot my password. Looked and thought about it all weekend. Couldn't come up with it so went to tsp.gov and requested new password. I should get it via snail mail within 10 days. I guess I'm stuck until then with what I'm holding (G,F,C and S - 25% each). Hope I don't crash and burn before then, r ever. :D
 
One thing, while officially we're still in bear market rules with the 50 EMA still below the 200 EMA , and yes, last week's 1.05 to 1 is a sell signal during bear market rules, during bull market rules that is very close to a buy signal.

Unofficially, the system is getting quite close to moving to bull market rules (about 12-points away) so the 1.05 to 1 it actually is a very neutral reading. We're in a sticky position right now between bull and bear market.

Purist using the system would want to stay in G until this changes.
 
Thanks Tom. I am out of IFTs but went 100% G fund for next week. For the time being I give up on moving to the first page of the Tracker.
 
In my haste to get out of town, I really mis-quoted myself. It should read 50/50 C/S. I got it right on the ift submittal. I should of stayed put at home and left Vegas the hell alone.

That was quite a move I made on the tracker today. Hoping to move into the top 50 for the first time. Instead sled from #57 to #207.:sick:

Not being here the beginning of last year I am not sure, but I think the tracker will be very volatile the first month or maybe 2... Not a lot of moves to base ranking on...

Exactly. Look at the number of us tied at the same percentages (1.7, 0.02, etc.). ;)
