Greetings from St Louis Mo

Howdy Merlin,
Welcome aboard. I'm new to this whole thing also. The learning curve is steep but a lot of fun. There are a lot of very smart professionals and amateurs on this board and I'm learning a lot. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
I have about half of what you do in my TSP and I learned the hard way, the last week in December and the first week of January, that it's real easy to lose money if you don't have a plan! Right now I've got pretty close to the L2040 allocation in Remo's account and I'm taking it easy and watching about three different strategies. I figure by the end of this year I should have a pretty good idea of which strategies I will use on my TSP over the next 10-13 years.

Best of luck to ya.
Remo

Let me jump in a say, Hello George!!! Glad you are here!

Not being able to find anyone with knowledge about TSP outside of this MB is common ground.

Hello All,

Another newbie, who has actually been around for a couple of years. I have been investing in the TSP since 1987. I've made fairly good gains during those years. Took a good loss during the 2000 and 2001 slump. At this point hanging in there with an account worth 3xx,xxx wondering what was the next step. I tried to locate a personal finance advisor that new enough about TSP but gave up. Then one day I was looking up the address for TSP on the internet to find out if there something or someone out there and spotted TSP TALK. I am very thankful.

George
