Nahh, the women are just either bitches or rah rahs. Still looking for an equivalent title for a man; SOB is an insult to the mother so that doesn't work. :toung:We undersatnd ireland is a little less complicated. Doesn't the pope elect your president?
Hillary made First Lady a political position with the Hillary Health Care Plan. That's my point, he is a goat, and he wasn't being scrutinized in the same way the "first wives" are, they are looked at on whether they are a good spouse, or else his personal conduct *would* have been an issue that would be used by other campaigns as an example of a very bad example of First Spouse.
I still stand by my view that a debate gives the impression that somehow the position of First Lady is a political position. It isn't.
Shrug, she's not the first, Eleanor Roosevelt, Abigail Adams, for instance. There have been political first Ladies. But making it mandatory through having them debate I think is a badddd idea.Hillary made it one with the Hillary Health Care Plan.
Agreed on all counts. Both First Ladies' pet projects were given political play as a payoff for putting up with their husbands' bad behavior.Shrug, she's not the first, Eleanor Roosevelt, for instance. Media Entertainment? What about this, invite them both to the Leno show. Cause it's entertainment, not News. At best, Entertainment Tonight. We can see which one sings "Wild Thing" better.AHHH... but GREAT media entertainment. It has great potential for campaign impact too. However, Michelle would be well advised not to engage Cindy in a televised formal debate, if she really wishes to get the oportunity to do the wild thing in the Oval Office.

Sigh, does it really matter? Hell yes!, anybody that has been married knows what goes on in the bedroom carries over to the day job. The wives aren't running for President, Get real, the wife can control by proxy, see my first statement and I really don't think that they should be involved with their spouse's job, which a "wife debate" would mean they *should* be. Spouse of the President doesn't make you the voice of the people, wanna bet? we vote for the candidate. Don't we have more serious issues to discuss? If it was an issue, first husband candidate Bill would have been an issue for being a goat (to match "trophy wife" and "bitch").

You have never been married have you?
