I agree and how much more operational these soldiers would be if they could devote the time spent looking over their shoulders to their home and military life.

Well I thought I'd throw out something more 'light' and 'easy'.

You know - in all likelihood these guys and gals are totally real - I mean hey it's who they are and what they are and the overwhelmingly grounding of them being more comfortable - attracted - and happy and fulfilled with their own gender does NOT mean:

they're incapable of thinking intelligenly and in any manner limited in their ability to persue and 'advance' in any kind of field they are motivated and inclined to enjoy - or put their energy.

Does NOT mean:

they're incapable in any capacity (physically, mentally, emotionally, whatever) compared to their heterosexual counterparts.

So if 'they' are genuinely inclined to 'serve their country' and are demonstrating the committment to be in the Military - in any and all ways.

I say - let them prove themselves - cause the problem is NOT them.

The problem was people like me - who viewed them as 'incapable' and it was 'my view' that screwed up their chance to show they were equal.

So it takes time to recognize our internal - warped perception - and the way our tendency to be 'prejudise' 'hostile' 'condemning' and 'majorly judgmental' influence 'us' - the world at large to be screwed up.

So I think this is something all of 'us' can smile about as we reflect on my expressions here - and let people be themselves -- and all the more let them strive to honor and serve their Country if they are moved in that manner.

Someone who wants to SERVE is going to be more committed and serve better - than someone 'lacking that desire'.

Peace be with you all --- I'll be back in about an hour ....
