G-7 leaders pledge to work together on coronavirus response, including vaccine
The G-7 leaders on Monday pledged to work together to grapple with the challenges stemming from the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement, the leaders said they would use all fiscal and monetary policy tools, as well as targeted actions, to support the workers, companies and sectors most affected. The leaders said their countries would cooperate on developing a vaccine for the deadly virus. "In facing the economic challenge, we are determined not only to restore the level of growth anticipated before the COVID-19 pandemic but also to build the foundation for stronger future growth," the leaders said.
