Sounds like you're pretty busy, but if you can find a few moments to spare and would be willing to share, can you tell me what conditions you saw that convinced you to go back into equities at that particular time? Always trying to learn.

Thanks Khosto, the true answer is I balance out the information I get from JTH, Ebb, bquat, clester and Coolhand. Since I have pay service access to the Sentiment Survey, I also get some information there. AutoTracker shows movement of smart people.

I do watch oil prices as an mini indicator for some tie-breaker thought processes, but I don't document or track all the listed indicators.

I use to trade foreign currencies, but realized I couldn't execute trades quick enough to hit moves I needed before indicators shut down.

Thanks Frixxxx. Well, nice move on a gutsy call. As I said, I wanted to go in but let my pre-formed strategy of waiting for a higher low get in the way throughout this entire 10% wave. It's kind of frustrating to know that I missed out on some big gains that would have fully covered some future big expenses my wife and I are anticipating. But that's what investing is all about right? Win some lose some. The key for me is to try to learn something from this that I can use to my advantage going forward. ... But the market sure is a wily beast -- seems like it always finds a way to fool me.

Looks like the S Fund is the hotter of the funds in performance.

It might be time to see if the S Fund will start to perform for the rest of the year.

I have two IFTs and may wait to pop out then go back into S.

Dollar is holding and now to watch oil. The Saudi influence on getting oil down has not caused a plummet in value.
