Frixxxx's Account Talk!

Maybe this was the dip below the triangle to start the shoot up to the holidays? :suspicious:

Based off of monthly effect - Dec is a 3/4 good bet to be in the market.

November is not as good but still 2/3 good ratio....

Let us hope this is the fade before the upward jolt!

Taking the first of the month/year gains.

Going F for a few....I don't like this year and I want to hold on to what I got!

Happy New Year, Happy Investing!

Well. Got a new reason to do well in the market.

Bought the wife one of these:

Well, we set a price point and looked at a ton of research before buying a car. Of course it's used, but it was a lease and had low miles. Car Trend rated this car high and the ride (we test drove ten cars) was unbeatable. I prefer to buy American, but this opportunity of a reliable car and long term cost of ownership was the best choice.

Yes, the points I got for this beauty from my beauty was incredible. It was my turn to get a new one since it had been 10 years, but I took the wife's car and donated mine.

And Minnow, the sailboat is a couple of years off. I'm surfing listings to go overseas for a few so I can get PPP to a sweet ocean side position.

Futures were looking good, but have dropped a few points. I don't think the jobs news is enough to keep it going....We'll see!

Go Bengals! Redemption!

Just one thing, Thank you CNN for putting on this new show in the morning that I can totally ignore.....NEWS, that's it, that's all you had to do, and you blew it! Those two "anchors" are serious dead weight!

2-3% growth speculation doesn't warrant inflation protection......Really????

Anyway, A lot of earnings reporting bad numbers, oh well...buy it up while I'm out....

Now that I have Fox/CNN/MSNBC off the list (Biased idiots!) looking forward to BBC America providing some relief, with a shot of CNBC for the good ole ticker!

My goal is one percent a month minimum....so if you think I'm sitting, I am.....

South Korea in my future, But I hope nothing major!

Lots and lots of mid shifts the past two weeks and a lot of missed opportunities while I've been sleeping.....May switch to mirror the 7-sentinels.....While it's still free!

Hey all,

Slowly coming back from a sobering experience over the last two weeks. Apparently, my wife's e-bay account got hacked. :mad:They grabbed her account and reversed payments to this account which were then applied to her Paypal account.:notrust: And then they charged over $1500 to it which was over the limit and it was rolled into a "Bill me Later" account. So after two days of phone calls, cancelling accounts, filling out police reports and putting bank accounts on hold, we are finally getting to take a breath.

Everything's fine, no permanent damage done. But it has been a pain in the butt!

Anyway, I will be posting my changes/IFTs and posting a little more now.

Peace!

It really comes down to:
1. How do you get the dinars? If you know a reputable house that trades these, you should be able to trade at the +/- spread and put your desired purchase into an account and trade on the market.
2. Paper - My knowledge on this is never get paper. Usually sold at 40% over value.
3. Government - If you were lucky enough, Kuwait was overthrown by Iraq. People bought up there currency based upon the response and the special oil pricing afforded them after they were repatriated. People made a killing.
The problem here is that the same government was placed back into power-no change. With Iraq, it's anybody's game and they are still ironing out details on how the country will be run.

Final analysis: VERY HIGH Risk

Invest only what you can afford to lose and no more. Most traditional currencies are traded based on support levels and economic indicators. Iraq has very few starting off.

Good Luck!

Frixxxx, I am sorry you had to go through all of that. Is there anything you can suggest we do to keep it from happening to us?

Good Luck !!!

Everybody be on the lookout for an email that I have been getting asking you to go to a paypal site to verify your account. I get it almost every day. But I checked, and it is not from paypal. Sorry you had so much trouble Frixxxx. Somebody got into my checking account and made online purchases at two Walmarts totally $1500 and it took a while to get it straightened out. I had to open new checking savings etc.

I had a similar experience a while back. Someone hacked into my Ebay account and created a Sellers account. They listed over 30 flat screen tvs with them as the point of contact for payment. I found out when I received notification email from Ebay regarding my listing fees. I had to emailed everyone that placed bids to let them know what was going on and to make sure they didn't make any payments. It totally freaked me out. I belief it happend when we were surfing ebay over an unsecured wireless network. It was a really frightening experience. Learned our lesson for sure!
