I'm so excited waiting on my butt buddy Kudlow this evening - he should be very optimistic. I noticed that Peter Navarro finally threw in the towel and went for a really big pile of superlative bull manure. Maybe he'll be a guest tonight. Monday could be the follow through day all the TA guys like to see.

Well, I should have got out on Friday, I knew it would be a good day, but since we didn't breakout I see a slight breeze will provide enough resistance to bring us down a notch.

Day trader hell!

Looks like the 1200 Eastern deadline hit I'm up .82% in S. Someone decided to panic....Warehouse numbers sucked!

oh well....hopefully Birch can buy todays bottom and ride it back up around 1500 to close positive!!!:suspicious:

Oh, you mean 3 pm? The A/D line is 1800 to 1100 today even with the Dow currently in the negative zone - a little intraday softness for the profit takers. If I can get 10,600 I'm going in deeper.

Good for you!....I have no side money to buy stocks this year but am working towards it....Once I get my "approvals" for FOREX, I'll probably diversify there as well.

I have one more test to take to be an "authentic" trader (SEC legal). Once that is complete, I will probably not get much sleep!

Well, I was leaning to the locking in of profits today..... But, unfortunately, got distracted before the deadline & I'm still in.

I think my new indicator to get out of the market will be:

3 comments (in one day) in Birchtree's Account thread that end in "snort!"

Once achieved, I will run to the "G" fund!

Man the VIX just put in 16.54 - that may be a signal of way too much comfort but sooner or later the blind side will hit. But I still don't think anytime soon - money is finally finding its way into the markets.

I am concerned that the the smart money is waiting for enough of the dumb money and will extricate every penny at the drop of a hat.

But, I'm in to win!

I have to take the Certified Trading Associate test...CTA...This allows me to bill clients through my brokerage....otherwise I couldn't do it and be legal.

Are you thinking of handling micro fx accounts or only bigger accounts? IOW, will you take whatever amount anyone will let you play with? :nuts:

Old model was to trade individual accounts. I wrote some software to create funds....Our new model will have funds for risk acceptance.

We will also stick to our watermark management fees and mandatory charitable contribution clause. Mandatory 5-10% contribution to charity of choice.

That way, we are doing our part to ensure that those who make money don't forget their place in life.....

We are dedicated to this pursuit.

It's just been a really long road.

Between my civilian job, Air Force Reserve Job, being a husband and father and trying to get his business going, it has been exhausting.

Class was a breeze, but needed to keep everyone going to ensure they all passed.

Certifications were plentiful....whew!

I didn't notice Friday's blow-up and everything was pointing up.... A LOT OF EMOTION in the market Friday....11.5% for the year so I am happy.

Will be watching the SS for my jump....Coolhand doesn't see too much weakness yet.

I just moved a dormant 401 K account into TSP ---- Bought this morning at today's low....hope to protect it there.

Well, riding the storm out..... See Uptrend is forecasting 10 good days and I will probably bail out after first of the month. Employment numbers always get me squirrely and I might even punch earlier if they start showing "real" numbers.
