FERS tax hike

Well, thats good news for now I guess. Still feel bad for new hires, but just like some CSRS employees may have felt bad about new hires put into FERS, we all have to find a way to make it work. What was BS, was changing things mid stream for current employees. As a relatively new employee, I had time to plan even though it was BS, those of you in your 40's and up had a real good reason to be ticked off.

I've spent the last two days in DC knocking on congressman's doors and fighting for federal employee retirement.

There are hundreds of AFGE folks in town, all over Capital Hill, going from office to office trying to get Congress critters to drop the FERS raid.

Didn't see any mention of canceling the FERS supplement for non-mandatory federal employees retiring before age 62 excluding law enforcement, etc. Anyone know about this, I thought congress was suppose to vote on it............thanks as always, thinking about going sooner than later.......................bj:(
