Looks like Joxanal snagged the win with that last minute G move! Was literally the only way for him to edge out Desertskye as they were both holding 100% I before with desert ahead. Impressive win, congrats all!

Thanks for pointing that out. I gave Desertskye a little extra because I honestly didn't notice just how close #1 and #2 were. I should have split 1st and 2nd place money with those top two.

Sometimes rounding will make a return look off by 0.01% and that's too close.

Great Job!

I thought we (I-Fund - 48cj2a) had a great chance until the last two days losses but I'm still happy with 5th and our overall I Fund returns so far this year.

I think there are too many smart movers plus a few members nailing the best dip buys each month for a buy and hold to take the top spot, but that would be an impressive mulit-way tie for first place if it happens. The I-fund was definitely tough to beat if you held it all month!

I thought it was interesting that only two people beat the I-fund return in 2025. The winner, MRJ, made 23 transfers, and second place, MrBowl, only made 4 all year.

That makes more sense to me when the I fund did so well, you would have to make so many well timed moves all year long plus hold that fund a good majority of the time. What MRJ did last year was impressive! Anyone else playing the S or C game just couldn't keep up by the end of the year!

Really with the "wind"effect in my opinion its hard to get a good I fund dip and sell as the adjustment dampens the swings out or just flat out ignores it sometimes touting gains when the others lose etc. C has been kind of a dud so far this year but S had some wild swings, there was a down day on a Thursday followed by a +3.6% gain on a Friday if you bought the dip took those gains and moved back out that was a money move. I was too gun shy to buy in that Thursday after considering it. Then Friday came and the hindsight hit of f course "should have moved yesterday" lol. I was considering just riding out G for the rest of month since I already had reached my goal but I got bored sitting in G for 8 days lol.

I fund is definitely still the buy and hold fund right now and S is the fund to time imo. That's the strategy I'm leaning to for March currently. I'm still risk averse so I have no problem riding out G once I hit my goal for the month. It does hurt seeing good gain days while sitting on the sidelines though lol
