FEBH provider coverage area

Ok, I promise not to rant this time.

Anyone have first hand experience concerning a federal employee being able to carry an FEHB provider from one duty location to another, even though in the new location the FEHB provider states specifically that their coverage does NOTapply to the new area, and that current residents of that area are NOT allowed to enroll in said plan?

Promise not to rant (again).
Got a call from the local medical facility (for lack of better term). Seems the only cardiologist FEHB provider that was to visit the area twice a month has backed out.

So I can dish out $125.00/visit or drive 220 miles round trip and wait in line.

Never heard of that or been in that position. Sounds like the bend over position. Keep track of your mileage and all medical expenses for the deduction. Mileage is a allowable deduction for income tax.
